The Hellcaster is a classic single cut, solid body rock guitar, which I developed for the 20th company anniversary of Cyan Guitars.
For the first time I have glued the neck construction up to the bridge pickup into the body. This new design detail brought plenty of sustain, a very direct tone response and ergonomic neck transitions. With the Cyan custom bridge and the string-through body construction, other important details were realized.
The body woods, swamp ash or khaya mahogany and the ovangkol neck with ebony or ovangkol fretboard, give this rock guitar the necessary power and provide an irresistibly transparent punch for all modern rock guitar sounds. From crystal clear to highgain, every sound variant is possible.
The pickup combinations of humbucker, single coil or mini humbucker can be optionally selected as required. I am very happy to advise you, which pickup assembly fits you best.
Immediately after completion, the first prototype of the Hellcaster in Players White finish went on the worldwide “Crack The Sky” tour with Brent Hinds from Mastodon. Also Kahn Morbee from the South African alternative band The Parlotones became aware of the Hellcaster. He got a black custom version specially adapted to the look of the band with the “Parlophone” logo as pickguard and a red head plate. Another customized version in a “Wirtz” design was given to the German musician Daniel Wirtz. The Hellcaster is also available as a baritone and 7-string guitar.
Hellcaster - Players White
This classic single cut, solid body rock guitar in Players White Finish impresses with its appearance, ergonomics and playability.
The surface is made of a special matt finish created of hardened nitro lacquer and a wax finish. Together with the Cyan custom hardware parts, this guitar is a very special instrument. Ovangkol as neck and fingerboard material guarantees an extremely dynamic and transparent sound reproduction from crystal clear to highgain and the recessed aluminum fret markers always provide an excellent fingerboard overview.
The Hellcaster series is also available as baritone and 7-string guitar. It can be equipped with all pickup combinations of humbucker, single coil or mini humbucker. For the body you have the choice between the woods swamp ash or khaya mahogany.
By the way, the first prototype of this rock guitar in Players White finish was adopted by none other than Brent Hinds (Mastodon).

Hellcaster - Double Dragon
This special version of the classic single cut, solid body rock guitar is a real gem thanks to its Living Colour paint in matt finish and an ovangkol neck with custom inlays.
Two mini humbucker, with a dragon engraving, offer a spectrum between a P90 and a conventional humbucker. The body made of swamp ash or optionally khaya mahogany is ergonomically perfectly shaped and very open in tone, but still powerful for modern rock sounds of any genre. From crystal clear to highgain. The attention to detail also becomes apparent through the Cyan custom bridge and the engraved potis that complete the design of this handmade guitar.

The Hellcaster is already a real classic from Cyan Guitars. Through the Blackburst finish, this single cut, solid body rock guitar lets the beauty of an ash body shine in a whole new light.
The glued ovangkol neck provides pressure and transparency in the deep middle area and is paired with an ebony fingerboard and stainless-steel frets for a true haptic pleasure.
Cyan custom aluminium inlays provide an excellent fingerboard overview and the Cyan custom bridge offers perfect playing comfort and optimal sound transmission for all modern rock sounds. From crystal clear to highgain. The Hellcaster is a rock guitar for all hard as well as delicate sounds and is also available as a baritone and 7-string guitar.
The pickup combinations are selectable, whether humbucker, single coil or mini humbucker – you have the free choice.

Hellcaster - Redburst
This classic single cut, solid body rock guitar in Redburst finish impresses with its special surface of brushed ash, that is elegantly prepared with coloured grain in matt lacquering. The Hellcaster offers ergonomic balance and excellent sound reproduction for all modern rock sounds from crystal clear to highgain.
The guitar pictured is an exclusive customized version in which the client’s wedding ring has been incorporated into the truss rod cover. An ovangkol neck and the ebony fretboard with luminlay dots provide the necessary transparency and power throughout the sound spectrum, while the Cyan custom bridge provides a comfortable and controlled playing experience with this classy rock guitar.
